Dear Sir/Madam:
I have received your letter of September xx, 2005 (“Partial Wind-up of the Canada Life Canadian Supplemental Pension Plan Important Notice to Members”) and, subsequently, your cheque as described therein.
This letter is your notice that, although I have cashed your cheque, I do not necessarily accept it as full settlement of my entitlement under the Canada Life Supplemental Pension Plan. I intend to discuss this matter with professional advisors and I reserve the right to pursue additional consideration in respect of my entitlement.

I am returning your cheque (enclosed) and, with this letter, give you notice that I do not accept it as full settlement of my entitlement under the Canada Life Supplemental Pension Plan. I intend to discuss this matter with professional advisors to determine the appropriate value of my entitlement.
